Transport

By water

Sadly the Darling Point ferry does not operate on weekends. If you still want to make a stylish watery entrance or exit, you can always catch a water taxi to and from the Darling Point ferry terminal, which is at McKell Park itself.

By road

If you are driving or catching a cab, turn off New South Head Road in Edgecliff onto Darling Point Road and continue to the very end to reach McKell Park (see map below). There are a few 2 hour street parking spots next to the park but there is plenty of unlimited street parking about a block up. Please do not park in the driveway of Lindesay House.

By bus

The 327 bus from the city or Bondi Junction takes you to the corner of Thornton Street and Darling Point Road every hour up to approximately 8pm. This is only a 2 minute walk to the park.

By rail

The nearest train station is Edgecliff on the blue line. As it is a bit of a walk (especially in heels) from the station to McKell Park, you would be better served to catch a cab to the park from the station.

Taxi numbers

You will need to book a return cab as taxis don't tend to do 'drive bys' here. Try these numbers: 133 100 (Silver Service) 133 300 (Taxis Combined) 131451 (Legion Cabs) or 9555 8888 for a water taxi.
